Yu is the cool guy. Yu is someone that Hiro looks up to and respects a lot more than he'd anticipated and he finds the guy to be super weird and super cool all at once. He wants to know more about the Persona and about Inaba and about the things he's experienced because he sees similar traits in Yu that he sees in himself that comes with being a leader. All of that aside, he trusts him. He knows that Yu understands better than most people about the Tadashi situation given what's happened with Nanako and even if he won't outright say it, that means a lot to him. Knowing he has that support if he ever chooses to take it it so important to him. He likes that Yu's pretty weird and that he can snark at him, and he does trust him for advice and he hopes that he can provide the same kind of support some day. He'll always be back-up for him if needed.

Xion is really cute! He liked her immediately and finds her to be a very sweet girl. Now that he knows that Dipper has a crush on her he's going to be obnoxious and try to get to know her even more and act as a (probably terrible) wingman for his bud. Xion being Roxas's best friend helps, too. That said, he finds it sad that she's never experienced things like birthdays or fireworks and he'd like to change that, and he thinks she could be someone fun to spend time with and would like to arrange for her to hang out with him and his friends.
