Kashuu is always forever gonna be Yang's favorite sword, not because he's the first she met (was he, I think so, there are so many DAYUM) but because he understands the basics of great friendship. Like glitter glue and going on shopping trips and all the shallow fun stuff, but then there are the things like teaming up with her to fight and kick ass, and because Yang's weird like that, she also appreciates that Kashuu will of course look fabulous at all times... but he also has her back, and if it scuffs his boots, he'll still be a reliable ally. He also kind of gives off an older sibling vibe in regards to some of the other swords, the same way that Yang worries about Ruby when they're separated. SOMEHOW they haven't really had any serious talks, but it's more because Yang doesn't really linger on serious things and there's never been a need. All the same, she hopes he knows she'll always be willing to listen if he needs someone to talk to.

AND THEN MARY who thinks Kashuu is incredibly beautiful and therefore hella intimidating... yes. He's been nothing but kind to her, but a part of her is still very much horrified by what her amnesiac self put him through, and so even if she wants to get closer and know him better, she's afraid that she's just going to end up annoying him. Also still has no idea he's a sword, I don't think. Unless she does, I have to go back and check, but she'd be fine with it.
