Takeru ➢ Iris

All things considered? Iris reminds him an awful lot of Sora. He doesn't know why but something about how calm and how much of a sister/mom figure she is to him reminds her of his friend. Perhaps it's because while Takeru might still be a kid, she still doesn't really talk down to him that much. And he really apperciates it and he really wants to impress her a lot!

Outside of Leia, Iris is pretty much the closest thing to a mom figure that he has honestly.

And at the same time, he really wants to hang out with her a lot! Especially her talks about spirituality, he can't help but be curious! If it's going to make him feel less stressed out from all the stuff that's been going on in Cerealia, he'll totally take it! If what she said about her being alone, he'll want to try and make sure that she'll feel less lonely from now on!

Takeru's impression of Korra so far?

Korra is awesome. The end.

No seriously. Takeru thinks she's like one of the coolest people ever here and after how she went out of her way to help him a lot? That automatically makes her one of the nicest and friendest people around in Cerealia in his eyes! Not to mention that she can do really cool wind bending too! He's really really jealous that she can do all of that and that he wished he could do the same thing too!

So in a sense, Korra kind of reminds him a bit of Taichi. Just that big sister feeling he gets whenever Taichi tries to help him out whenever he could. Not to mention there is that hint of her just slightly showing off to him. Just a tiny bit. At the same time, he does worry a lot about her too. After all she was sick, he didn't want her to keep on being that way!

Minato and Takeru!

Takeru worries about Minato a lot.

While the boy hasn't met up with him a lot? He still thinks of him as really cool and awesome too (He has powers okay? Who doesn't find that awesome?)! But he does have to wonder if he might be a little too selfless. After their encounter with the ghost, he has to wonder if Minato's gonna be okay here. While he agrees that ghosts are just sad people, it really doesn't give them a right to hurt others.

Which is why the boy has to wonder if he was like this now, would he be okay during his stay here? Of course, this might be Takeru thinking way too much for his own good but he'll have to keep a closer eye on him. None of his friends are going to get hurt here while he's around okay? Not to mention he still has to keep his promise and that includes Minato on that list!

On Rei?

While Takeru hasn't met up with Rei all that much, one thing is for sure.

Rei reminds him a lot of Sora as well. Not only does she have this big sister feel whenever he's around him, she's also a priestess too! (That's kind of being close to traditional Japanese flower arranging right??) So he finds that really cool! And that she knows magic, it can't get anymore awesome than that! Which is why he wants to hang out with her a lot more and see what else she can do!

At the same time though, because she gives off such a big sister feel, he really wants to find a way to impress her! And why he was really freaking out about why his present might not be a good fit for her despite what Ami might say. Although, he really hopes that he can prove himself and really impress her one day! He really wants to be someone whom people can look up to!

Tenka, you really realllllyyyy remind him of Taichi!

Both in energy and how much of a big brother figure you are to him but how awesome he was in all those epic adventures! And especially with wizards and a whole bunch of magical stuff going on! He can't help but be drawn into that! He really wants to know more about him!

At the same time though, because Takeru has to admit. He doesn't know Tenka that well and if all those stories about his journey is true, he has to wonder. He must have been through a lot of stuff in order to become who he is today! While he might make up random stories and guesses how his the rest of his life turned out (He did write a story about him after all)!, he really hoped that he does turn out happy in the end! And that he finds what he's looking for!

TL;DR: TAKERU REALLY LOOKS UP TO LEIA AND HAS NO IDEA HOW TO DEAL WITH SPACE MOM.

Long version: To be honest, Takeru looks up to Leia a lot but at the same time? Oh my gosh, it's the Leia from Star Wars! How is he suppose to handle that? Should he do his best to impress her? What if he might screw up (which he totally did)? What if he does something really bad and she won't like him? It's a lot of pressure for this young boy to handle!! And at the same time, he's also really intimidated by her because of how she can always sense whatever is on his mind too (except not really).

As much as he tries to apologize and wants to make up for disobeying her, he knows there's not a lot he could do. All he hopes is that she won't leave him. If she's going to be his mom, he just doesn't want it to turn out the way it did with his own parents separating.

Whoo boy. Alice seriously reminds Takeru a lot of Hikari.

Mainly because whenever Takeru does talk to her, he keeps forgetting that she is really mature for a seven year old and he has to find a lot of ways to keep up with her! Maybe it's because she's really polite or maybe because she's probably older than him, who knows. All Takeru knows is that he really respects her and wants to impress her (because he wants to be a grown up too!) But the problem is that he had no idea how and it usually turns out awkward for better or for worse!

Although, he has to wonder too. If she is anything like Hikari, would she hide a lot of stuff that he wouldn't tell her? Would she keep it all in and tell no one? Probably not but that doesn't stop him from worrying and especially when she got sick too! Either way, he really hopes that he can continue being friends with her!

What does the little guy make of William?

Takeru might not have known Will all that long but he seems to find him interesting!

A world that's filled with demons (even if it's scary) and where you can use magic? It's totally just like that book about wizards and magic except not really! Who wouldn't want to go in and hop right to that? Although, he does hope that Will does get a break sooner or later from the library! It seems like every time he sees or have people talk about him, he seems to stick in nose into a book.

Even when he's sick, he's still working over there! One day, Takeru will really need to make sure that gets some fresh air and enjoy the sunlight! It seems like a good way to thank him for helping him out during that event a while ago!

And teach him swear words. He can totally use that too.

TL;DR: SO TAKERU FINDS ZORO TO BE REALLY AWESOME AND COOL AND AMAZING AND HE REALLY WISHES HE CAN BE A GOOD SWORDSMEN LIKE YOU ONE DAY!

Long Version: ...Yeah. Pretty much that. Really, Takeru looks up to Zoro because holy cow, he can slice through steel without breaking a sweat! He really wants to do that too and that he could impress him one day! Of course, the problem is that he couldn't. While he might have been a little annoyed that he couldn't teach him, that just means he needs to work harder!

Now with Leia teaching him the ways of the Jedi, he'll totally have to meet up with him and see what he could do now!

That and he really hopes that he will spend more time trying to think of a birthday gift for his friends. He really needs to do that.

Takeru's thoughts on Hiro who's decidedly not a wizard

YOU LIKE GIANT ROBOTS, I LIKE GIANT ROBO- okay no.

But Takeru thinks Hiro is amazing honestly. Much like Korra, he can build giant robots and can probably do a bunch of cool things! He wished he can do that too! Not to mention that honestly? Takeru can talk to the boy about whatever he wants because he gets it.

He knows what it's like to grow up quickly but at the same time? He's still just a kid and that there are a lot of people who talk down on you and it's frustrating. So the fact that Hiro knows what it's like? Takeru can be more open to him and talk about stuff he wouldn't otherwise. Much like Dipper, Hiro is probably the closest friend that Takeru has here and go out of his way to help him out whenever he can!

Because seriously, after losing your brother in that fire? That pretty much cemented the young boy into helping him out into forreeevvvveerrrr.
