Ofc there is recent friction between them, and Kaz knows he's being sort of stupid about his reaction, but he has no idea how to react to Minny's death and resulting trauma. Like, Kazuya isn't very good with emotional comfort or tact in the first place, and when Minny died - after Ket too - Kazuya is just horribly aware that for all of his power, and all that he sacrificed to gain said power, it doesn't mean that those he sees as friends are automatically safe from anything dangerous/horrible. Minny kind of made him realise that, which is something he doesn't want to realise, but, oh well, no take backs here, so instead he's being kind of dumb and stalkerish over Minny and feeling irrationally annoyed towards him. Like, Kaz is quite good at compartmentalising all of his trauma and bad feels, but it's not necessarily a good thing at times.
So... yes, Kaz stalks Minny currently. Not 24/7 (he still needs to keep an eye on william too), but enough for even himself to acknowledge that, okay, this is getting kind of creepy now, but he still does it. It's for his own peace of mind, just randomly checking in during Minny's day, just to make sure. He's been jarred back into "lockdown mode" now, which is essentially him keeping an eye on his friends in case a demon drags them off during the night, or a LAPLACE mail decides to predict someone's death. Like, he knows it won't happen rationally, but he still does it.
Err, rambled a bit on about that. Aside from that though, Kaz also likes that Minny is a lover of food. Okay, so he doesn't like that he has competition on the dinner table, but he likes that sometimes they can do dumb things like competitions on the dinner table. Kaz likes doing silly things, and this counts as one of them to him.
So in short: he views Minny as a good friend, though is currently being a creep over him because he got himself killed that one time.

But seriously, Kaz... has warmed up very quickly to William, which took me by surprise. I suppose it helped that William was very open about his background and why an angel was following him around? Like, their situations have so many similarities, and they're both stuck in the situation that who they were in a past life is affecting and screwing up their current lives. Plus William is having demon troubles too, and that's something that Kazuya deeply sympathises with so... to be honest, William just makes him feel less lonely. Like, Kaz has friends, but William actually has insight into Kaz's situation and kind of understands it, so it's just a relief to him.
It's why Kaz gave William his COMP. Because when Kaz met William, Minny had already been killed by a monster, and there was no way Kaz was going to let someone he connected with so easily fall prey to something like that as well. Like, for Kaz it's no problem, because he can defend himself without the COMP and he didn't use it much for summoning his demons anyway - but for William, it might be the only thing between him and death. He knew he was probably being a bit forward, giving his COMP over on first meetings, but hey, in canon he did it with Midori just so she had the means to protect herself, so this is kind of the same situation.
Kaz is hesitant over something with William though, and that's his current status as "demon". He's still kind of... gauging? Like, he knows Kevin would probably straight up exorcise him if it ever came out that the Messiah was also the King of Demons, so he's leery of telling William anyway, but once he's certain that he'll get a favourable - or neutral - response, he'll probably come clean with William. Like I said, he's warmed up surprisingly quickly to him... guess there's something to be said for kindred spirits!
But yeah, Kaz likes William a great deal. Still building his trust up, but otherwise, Kaz is quite comfortable around him.

It's not unpleasant, but it gives him sort of like, a weird mental whiplash. He's unsure on how to deal with it, so he just meekly gives in, haha. Otherwise, he thinks she's a very kind person, albeit very severe...

Kaz thinks Yu is really weird. It's mostly because Kaz is a bit suspicious on how Yu treats him so nicely and fairly after Kaz pretty much broke into his hospital room and threatened him. Like, Kaz knows that he wouldn't be able to do that if the situations were reversed, so he's... well, to be honest, he doesn't sense any trickery from Yu, but it just serves to make Kazuya feel a little bad about fucking Yu around. So right now, Kaz is just very much like "????" towards Yu, and he isn't sure how to judge him.
So right now, Kaz is pretty much observing him - very closely. Like, he has to make sure Yu doesn't do dumb things and drag Minny into them again, so sadly Yu gets ushered under the same stalking that Minny does (...yup), but otherwise, Kazuya is content to just see how things happen. Hey, they might end up becoming friends, and while it'll mean Kazuya will have to keep an eye out for even MORE people, having more friends is always a nice thing.
So yeah, currently, Kaz thinks Yu is a complete weirdo, but they're cool, and Kaz is willing to give Yu a chance.
