And, of course, you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

[The Persona had looked very promising. Who knows, maybe no one had actually thought of cutting the mistletoe down and his plan would actually work.

Yeah, that's probably for the best. [Minato could have told Shiho burning the plant wouldn't have worked since it was magically blessed by a goddess, but he gets the feeling she might want to burn that goddess too.]

The myth doesn't say who's supposed to do the kissing though. Which do you prefer? [Mind you he's not asking Shiho to kiss him, so much as he wonders if she's okay with a guy kissing her.]

Thanks for the show of support, Sannomiya-san. [Crisis averted! Contrary to what Shiho might think Minato doesn't have much of a problem kissing girls, he just has a problem with kissing girls at the wrong time and causing them to flip on him with the additional penalty of reversing their S. Link.

The legends about mistletoe never specified how passionately these kisses had to be, so Minato's going to cut to the chase with a light peck on Shiho's cheek that lingers for a split second longer than necessary. He pulls away just as quickly, moving to the left to see if they're free now.] Can you move freely now?

The legends only specified that it had to be a kiss. The goddess Frigga promised a kiss to anyone who stood underneath it as thanks for everyone who helped in bringing back her son from the dead...the berries are supposed to represent her tears.
