And, of course, you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

[He's just looking up at the mistletoe above him with a curious look. Hm, what's that up there. He looks over at Veronica.]

It is mistletoe, Sayo. [She's not aware she's stuck just yet.]

It is a parasitic plant which attaches to trees. Perhaps you did not have them back where you come from?

There is a tradition during Christmas that you must kiss whoever you find yourself under the mistletoe with.

Because there's no reasons to hang them around in his old masters' homes, regardless if they like the western ideas or not.

There's a pause, before he looks at her.]

... Kiss? Does this mean we have to kiss, Veronica-san?

I see. We did not have the plant back in Zerestria either. [Nor would anyone have hung any up on the chance that they'd get stuck under it with the princess.]

And yes, I suppose that we do. [She's not all that bothered about it though. It's just kissing. (Besides, she was taught that kissing on the cheek is perfectly acceptable for friends.)]

[There's a pause as he looks at her. Kissing... He wonders if that's okay? It's one thing if his brothers gave him one, and he would allow Haru to do it. But someone outside of that...]

If it's okay with you... [Another pause.] Do I kiss you, or... you kiss me?

[He looks at her, and then at his hands for a moment. He looks back at Veronica.]

[She crouches down so she's level with him and carefully leans in to press a light kiss to his cheek.]

[He stands still when she kiss him. He blinks and looks at her, and then down almost shyly.]

You are welcome. [She doesn't stand up yet though.]
