[Despite himself, Gokudera finds his hands shooting up to feel his ears, suddenly feeling self-conscious of them because of the man's comment. But they feel the same as ever, normal and not at all nubby. Gokudera growls, catching the front of the other's shirt with his fist.]

My ears are fine! You're the one who has strange, pointy ears, asshole!

[The moment the small pale creature grabbed at his shirt, he muttered a quick spell under his breath to hurl him backwards. Fortunately, this was a rare occasion when Illidan's fascination prevented him from striking a harmful blow. His intention had been to get the unfamiliar creature off him before it could potentially land a strike, however, a ball of fire now formed in his hand, which was a far more sinister spell.]

I would not recommend doing that again.

[Of course, him jumping so brashly to reacting had gotten the attention of the passerbys, who now all stared at him. He cast quick glances at them, aware that causing a scene could potentially make him a great many enemies very quickly- but of course he refused to back down regardless.]

[One second he was holding the guy by the shirt, and in the next he was a few feet away, thrown back by an invisible force. If Gokudera hadn't quickly dug his feet in, he might have skidded even further. The blow hadn't been painful, but it was forceful. And fucking invisible. The guy was muscular but Gokudera hadn't seen him move his arms at all!]

What the hell was that?!

[Noticing the ball of fire in the other's hand, Gokudera decided to skip the dynamite all together and reached for his Sistema C.A.I. instead. The cannon was a confident-boosting weight around his arm, as were the shields that floated around him.]
