She? [oona echoes, confused, before realizing he means the professor. After a moment she opts for crouching down to his level instead and holds out the little bag of candies to him (they're a mix of flavors, some hard, some soft and chewy-- she has no idea what they're called, some futuristic CERES candies whatever) in silent invitation.]

Have not heard anything. You are... S1042? [She wrinkles her nose somewhat.] That is not good name. You have another, yes? A real name?

[While she doesn't have the pieces to put together here, she still has a bad feeling. Anyone that goes by a number instead of a name at first screams at her that this is some fucked-up human bullshit and her thoughts flashback to the scientists and experiments.

God she hopes she's wrong.]

[ that's his quick explanation, before he scuffs a short line on the ground with his toe, offers his name with flat disinterest－ as if it feels strange. ]

[now that she looks at him, she can see the resemblance. They kind of still have the same hair style. The mark on his cheek she suspects will become the chunk of flesh missing to expose teeth.

She really doesn't know how to react to this, and it's only by a thin reminder screaming in her head that this is a child and shrieking probably wouldn't end well at all that Oona is keeping herself from, well, doing just that.]

Adolf!? [but she still can't keep the shock out of her voice as she blurts out an echo of his name.

He isn't sure what to make of what she's saying to him— of course he's small, he's a child— and with his hands gripping the fabric of his gown, he shakes his head. ]

[ Because surely that's what she's referring to, right... As much as Professor Bellwood makes him uncomfortable sometimes (most times), she would be a welcome help right now. ]

Ah, well... Suppose not... [She trails off, still not entirely sure how to handle this information. It was Adolf, sure, but not. Tiny babby Adolf... She wasn't prepared for this.

Her brow furrows slightly, a brief expression of hurt, before she tells herself it makes sense he wouldn't know her. They didn't meet as children, after all, so there's no reason for him to have memories of her.]

But she's not sure what this place has done to make Adolf small again, if it'll last or how long. Nor does she know how well he might take the sudden realization that he isn't supposed to be small.
