[As a kid, Hiro is disturbingly different from his older self. He's more quiet and keeps to himself, but can open up more to people that he feels more comfortable with. (That's where he gets a little more outgoing and sassy) A strange and helpful kid who's oddly independent and self-sufficient for his age. Brave and driven when it matters the most... And will probably protect other kids from bullies even if that adds more fire onto himself. (BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT A HERO WOULD DO)

[Baby Takane does NOT like being lost and alone, where are her grandparents!! Where is anyone!! This kid will do for helping her out. She's just as bossy as Ene and 5000x grumpier, storming over to him in a huff.]

[Most little kids would've been afraid to step out of their comfort zone, but Hiro was showing some quiet fascination over being frightened of this new place. Noticing the young girl approaching him, he couldn't help and think "Is she out to get my lunch money?" like some of the bullies wanted.]

Y, Yeah, you should help me! Where are we? I wanna go home.

[If she yells about it and acts angry then it totally covers up any fear, right? That's what she's aiming for, she'd much rather be seen as boisterous than scared. Although comparing her to a bully would certainly offend her.]

Um... Think we're in some kind of colony. I'm not sure how to get home yet.

[Judging from the signs, he was sharp enough to understand as much. He doesn't say "We can't go home" because he doesn't believe in such a negative thought. This girl wasn't asking for his lunch money, so she couldn't be a bully and she needed help...]

[Takane glares when he says he doesn't know, frustrated and upset and channelling that into ANGER. But I sounds like this kid is lost too, so she should make sure he gets back to his family safe too. ]

[He doesn't seem that afraid of everything, honestly. A little wary, but curiosity and excitement were overriding fear. This was feeling like some kind of an amusement park.]

Hey... Do you read sci-fi manga? This place kinda reminds me of the space colony that Featherman and his team ended up one time.

[Not being afraid helps her not be afraid, just a bit. if he's not scared then Takane has no reason to be! She's not alone now so it's easier to handle.

[He couldn't help and feel himself getting exciting. Normally, he was more subdued and quiet... But how could he possibly contain himself when they were space pioneers?]

Yup yup! Featherman is one of my favorite heroes. He's always there to defeat the bad guys.

[Takane loves heroes and cool things so she is intrigued, momentarily forgetting about the whole kidnapping thing.]

Bad guys in space? What are his powers, can he fly? If he's got feathers he's gotta fly.

Maybe they're bad, but they could be our friends too.

[Even as a kid, Hiro was unusually empathetic for his age... So if he kept her spirits up, then she wouldn't have to worry much about their situation.]

Hmhm... ♪ Featherman's got a suit that can not only fly, but do all sorts other cool things. His motto is "Death must not be needlessly feared. But it must not needlessly be desired as well. Face it and fight, Featherman!"

[ Is there bullying happening? That is a mystery. Or not so much, actually, as there's just an awkward four year old who seems to be lost in the craziest districts of them all: the shopping district. Which is kind of a problem because being as small as she is?

[Hiro wasn't expecting to see another little kid around here. There were some older people, but he was a little wary around adults. He had enough common sense to know that there weren't always nice to kids. So for that reason, he kept to himself to not get into a complicated situation.

Whenever the girl bumps into him, he'll offer a hand up to her.]
