[Yep, the girl's definitely getting scooped out of the way. Namur hauls her under one arm even as he lifts his leg and slams his foot into the grill of the oncoming car, stopping it instantly. He scowls at the driver, who is understandably upset, and tells them in no uncertain terms how little he cares and where they can shove it. Then he saunters back to the sidewalk, dropping the girl slowly so she'll have a chance to land on her feet.]

[And then his brows draw together and he looks utterly confused. He leans down to sniff at her to be sure.]

[She yelps in surprise at suddenly being picked up, dropping the fries in her alarm. She's really far more upset about the lost food then the fact she almost got hit by a car (some things never change, apparently), and she simply pouts when she's set on the sidewalk.

She has a few choice words to say (namely that he totally owes her more fries now!) when he's suddenly leaning in to sniff... her??? Oona gives him a baffled look back.]
