Age Changing Meme!

Because the child-unfriendly streets of the colony are clearly the best places for children right
SURPRISE! You are not the age you were before! Are you older? Younger? Do you remember being the way you were before, or has it always been this way? Did CERES mess up the coding again?
Want to play out a game AU of tiny babies running amok on the streets? Old geezers telling everyone to get off their lawn? Anything in-between? Go nuts and have fun!!
Meme taken from here!
Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki | 153-213
You won't catch Mutsu running around at this age nor will you catch him shooting off his mouth at anyone who will listen. He's quieter right now, much more observant as he takes in everything around him and tries to find his place and purpose. Instead, you can find him sitting properly-- waiting, even-- for anyone to come for him. Maybe he has some tea and snacks for anyone who might keep him company right now but he hasn't touched any of it for himself. He's more preoccupied with looking out the window at a world he hasn't seen... yet.
He's almost over three hundred years younger than he should be but he's more serious and mature than he ever will be. Oh, well, he was always a bit of a contrary spirit at least??? )

On one hand, he's a stranger, and Souji has next to no experience in how to interact with strangers, which makes them a bit scary. On the other, he looks nice and calm and... friendly, right? It looks so peaceful, sitting there with the steam from the tea curling in the air in front of him, gazing through the window as the golden evening sun falls in slanting beams into the room.
From having been peering around the doorframe, he hesitantly nudges the door a bit more open, takes a hesitant little step... and stops. Should he back out again? Should he stay where he is? Should he walk closer? In the end, he dips into a stiff little bow, gazing up at Mutsu through his fringe.]
I'm... sorry? [For what is unclear, and he sounds rather uncertain that this is the right thing to say as well.]

It's okay. ( In response to an unclear apology. Though nothing was ever wrong, it's best to let the boy in front of him know that everything is fine. Mutsu beckons for him to come closer, ) Are ya lost?
late but hi
Britain must find out what is calling to him.
and, lo. he sees what appears to be a young man just sitting there. but there's an aura surrounding him. he's not human. but then, what is he? a spirit? Britain's going to find out.
very shortly, Mutsu will find the end of a long pistol pointed at him. connected to that pistol is a blond man with an over-sized red coat draped over his shoulders]
What are you? [to the point]
never late
What a strange and rude man this is, waving things in his face. Are all westerners (he is a westerner, right?) like this? )
Hah, hah! A lot of people can tell the difference here. ( It's strange. Frankly, he isn't even used to being seen by so many but apparently this saniwa that summoned him has a great power.
Still kneeling, he turns to position himself so that he can face England directly. He also carefully slides the sword that had been at his other side to his front. England might notice an aura coming from the sword-- the same as Mutsu. ) If ya wanna know about me, ya'll have better luck exchanging words but since ya asked...
( But still, he lowers himself to bow to the stranger. He's a good a sword-- respectful to people so as to not embarrass his family. )
I'm Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, sword to the Sakamoto family.

Did you say sword? [his eyes flick over to the sword Mutsu is holding. sure enough, the auras are one and the same. it's weird. he's never seen anything like that before... and he's seen a lot of things] You're a sword?
no subject
That's right. There're swords in ya'r country too. ( There are a lof of things he doesn't know about the world still but every country has swords, right? ) I'm a tsukumogami. Do you have those in your country too?

I have a family and master already.

Well, now, I don't care about that. [it's more fun if someone else owns Mutsu anyway. then England can have the pleasure of stealing him. the glint of maliciousness in his eyes is unmistakable] All I care about is getting you back to m'ship.

I'm not leaving but I suggest ya do.
( Otherwise they'll have to fight, and he really doesn't like that. )

shhhh
another couple hundred years and celty still looks the same: body of a woman in her early 20's, still young and nubile, forever in her helmet and bodysuit. the only thing that's changed at all is her demeanor, perhaps. she's lived for an even longer time now, watched cities rise and fall, the birth and death of days. there's still that timeless air about her and that's probably something that will never disappear.
nothing really surprises her anymore, but perhaps seeing mutsu like this does make her do a bit of a double take. he's always been so vibrant, so loud and colorful and full of life, just like sakamoto. this new subdued version of him seems so different; the fact that he's actually sitting still is a feat in a of itself.
but an old friend is still an old friend and celty joins him, sitting next to him as he looks out the window. she takes out her device and turns on the voice application. ]
Waiting for someone?
