[To put it lightly nothing ever goes well when a child is forced to deal with the death of his parents and abandonment issues due to being passed from foster to foster, on top of repressed memories thanks to having an incredibly powerful Shadow sealed into him.

Minato's younger self is quite alike to him, but he has the distinction of being incredibly unsettling and creepy thanks to being more or less an emotional flatline with little regard for his life and a whole lot of issues besides.

[There was a mini-Minny. He didn't know the guy had a little brother in Cerealia. One that looked, so eerily like him...

[Minato looks up from the patch of grass he's been staring at once he hears his surname. Why was he looking at it anyway? It is a mystery.]

Yeah. [Instead Kaz will be getting his full attention now, don't mind his unnerving stare.] ...you kind of look like me.

Uh, you think? [He and Minny did have some passing resemblance - purely coincidence, of course - but having mini-Minny point it out made him feel weird about it] Haha... we do resemble each other a little! Must be the hair, yeah?

[Well then. Mini-Minny was actually Minato as a child. Did he replace Minny? Or had he spontaneously de-aged for some wacky reason? Kazuya tried to puzzle this out, but after a while, he decided that it was simply Cerealian strangeness. It will wear off on its own, he was certain. Everything kind of did when it came to these odd events]

Eh? Sounds like they're the strange ones, not me. Who ignores a kid? [He settled his hands on his hips, and everything about him seemed to soften] Assholes, that's who. So, got anyone looking after you nearby, Minny? Like a guardian or something?

Minny? [That word sounds alien to him but he decides he likes the sound of it when he repeats it to himself- by extension that means he likes this guy too who looks kind of similar to him.]

I don't think so...isn't this a different city? I don't know anyone here. [And from how Minato says it, it sounds like he doesn't care.]
