That's...a bit of a complicated question.

[But since she has to answer?]

We've always been close, in our own way. We've just never had the opportunity, you understand. I guess I've always liked her, but things finally slowed down enough for us here that I could really think about it.

If I had to point to a specific moment though? It was shortly after all the trains and appliances were going haywire. We ended up trapped in a single room, and she'd fought off an angry ghost that was trying to grab me on the way in. Something that night just clicked, and that's when I decided.

And I suppose so. It's actually been nice, when we've not been separated or running for our lives from a flood or...all of that.

[Rei pauses, suddenly a little more thoughtful. That is a pretty difficult question to answer. She wants to say no, almost instinctively but...she considers. the place and the lack of duty here.]

You know? I'm not sure. I don't think too many people should know. It's nice that it's not that abnormal here but I think I'd rather keep it simpler and say no. I do like being able to say it out loud, here though.
