i'm all over awkward friendship

Sousei : Ai

NOT THAT SOUSEI WOULD CALL IT FRIENDSHIP because Sousei is difficult and you have to be persistent to get him to admit you're a friend, it's a sad and pathetic thing (please be his friend). But he does like Ai! He thinks that she's a sensible young woman, rather reliable, and he finds that her quietness isn't really a bad thing. To him, it just signals that she thinks because she speaks, and that's not a bad trait to have at all.

He wouldn't mind speaking with her more, and he is grateful that she's one of Tenka's friends, because he knows that Tenka gets easily lonely and he thinks Tenka should have more sensible friends. Please be sensible with him.

That aside, he still has the origami flower and he's still horribly confused by it. He doesn't understand even now why she would give him a gift (she hardly knew him???) but he thinks it's very nice. It reminds him of home in a way, so it's calming to have around; he keeps it in his room in a drawer as neatly preserved as he can.
