Sousei is a total parental/big brother figure to Oona, that much is kind of obvious. She appreciates that he accepts a lot of her weird quirks and non-human traits/misunderstandings without really trying to change her? I mean, when she fucks up he won't let her get away with it and on the surface THAT REALLY ANNOYS HER. She doesn't have a healthy means of challenging her anger and she lashes out a lot still, and Sousei's take-no-shit attitude and always being calm about things pisses her off. She WANTS a reaction, and he doesn't give it to her.

Deeper down she sort of appreciates it. She's not dumb, you know? She knows that what he does, despite her annoyance and reluctance about it, is for her own good; she's totally aware of that. She just doesn't like admitting it.

But she also knows Sousei cares for her, in the way he tries to endure her need for physical affection and helps her. He's blunt and honest and it's so refreshing in a human that she just lvoes him a little bit more every time. Because she does love him! She totally does! He's her mom big brother, and she wants to braid his hair and find him a nice girlfriend and all that jazz. She wants to make him proud-- probably even more than Tenka, Sousei's opinion of her matters most to her.

Like with Tenka she's like "I'm a shit person and he doesn't like that, but he's gentler/kinder about it and sort of accepts that I am the way I am" whereas Sousei is kind of like NOPE NOT HAVING THAT SHIT so Oona can't get away with it as much. And when it comes to Sousei she doesn't want to?? Idk how to describe it exactly, but she's very aware of his perception of her (or tries to be) and she really doesn't want it changing or anything.
