She bonded with Lapis pretty quickly, which is amazing! Lapis' quirkiness actually works to her advantage in that it does get Vietnam to open up a bit more than she usually would, since Lapis is actually blunt, but she's not forceful? Also she keeps giving, so she's able to get along with her very quickly. ALSO GIANT COOKIE?! Now they just need more hang out time, especially after that entire mess happened.
