If she didn't know Sayo was an old sword, she would say he's wiser beyond his years. Which he is, so she treats him just as well as she would treat anyone older. However since he is new at being a human, she does end up doting on him like he is some child. He's very endearing to her, and she doesn't know he's capable of MURDER AND REVENGE the way he is? At the same time, she would accept that is what he is since he is a sword, he's someone who can kill and maim. She just hopes he's allowed to live as a human, and now as a child :(
