Sousei : Vietnam

Sousei quite likes Vietnam, actually!

She's very sensible, she's clever and quick-witted, and he's never had reason to dislike her. As a person, he thinks she's plenty tolerable to be around and has no issues whatsoever with spending time in her company. As far as people in Cerealia are concerned, he's closer to the top of his list when it comes to people he wouldn't mind talking to more. She could probably be a good friend IF HE WAS BETTER AT FRIENDSHIP. He also really appreciates that she believed in him in dangerous situations and allowed him to do his thing without questioning him; it allowed him to do what he knew he could do, and they both got out of the situation just fine. He knows too many people who would've argued with him way too much over that.

There's also, of course, the fact that she's a country. Sousei never knows what to make of Vietnam and her countryness.... he's a soldier, so naturally the most important thing to him is serving his country. He loves Japan intensely and wants nothing more than to protect his country with everything he has. That's basically his reason for living. So meeting a personified country is just a very weird and bizarre sort of... situation... He's still got some awe and an extra sense of GOTTA PROTECT when it comes to Vietnam because of all of that.

She's not Japan, naturally, but even so there are people that she nurtures as their motherland, and that's enough for Sousei; he understands what that sort of patriotism feels like and so he'll do what he can to make sure that she stays safe and well.

Sousei is just REALLY FOCUSED ON CERTAIN THINGS sorry Vietnam.
