okay but in all seriousness, Hiro is happy that they hit it off pretty well whenever they first met! Somehow, someway... He has that sixth sense in knowing whenever people are worried or troubled about something. So in any case, Ai has left a good impression with Hiro and he really wants to get to know her more. Though he can't help and be worried about her sometimes since she comes off as a huge worrywart which contradicts his usual laidback nature. And she has that kind of presence where he thinks "I can't help and want to protect her..."
All things considered, Hiro needs some who thinks more deeply about consequences or keeps his recklessness in line. Since despite how levelheaded he can be, he can come up with some pretty impulsive and reckless choices at times. So someone like Ai around would do him some good. Also Hiro finds it hard to flirt or troll her since it backfires in his face and he ends up feeling awkward for it. But he can't help and feel that it's not a bad kind of awkward.

Let's see... For Inaba, Hiro sees her a bit rigidity? Overly serious? Grumpy? It's a little disturbing since he thinks that girls around his age should be smiling more and living out their youths. Regardless of what apocalyptic situations that they're in, Hiro really values that kind of stuff. Not to mention, it almost reminds him of younger Makoto. Which is also a bit amusing for him since he makes him wonder how they'd hit it off if they met.
Then there's Illya... WELL. He's still in some slight disbelief that she's an adult, but figures that it's easier to roll with it than make everything complicated with arguments. Though at the comment about her being a top tier magus... It's still pretty funny to him, yet he can't help and want to see what kind of magic that she's capable of. Hiro isn't exactly an experienced magus himself, so he's interested in seeing what "experts" can do.

When they first met, Hiro was unsure about Alcor. Almost wary of him even, but considering that he's done so many things to try and help everyone out... He decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and got to know him. Even if he's a pretty confusing fellow, Hiro was willing to accept him for who he was despite his many quirks, being a Septentrion and his morally ambiguous actions. Hiro And after the events in the Tri arc, his friendship towards him has strengthened. Compared to how Hiro treated him as like a divine entity who knew everything about everything... This time, Hiro feels like he's humanized him even more. Like despite the fact that he forced the Administrative Authority on everyone, Hiro did not hold it against him as he knew that Alcor simply did it for the greater good. So sometimes, Hiro sees him as a wise old man and other times, he's almost like a little kid. (like Hiro having to lecture him about making up with Miyako) So even if Alcor says things that doesn't always make sense to him and might do bizarre things that even catches Hiro off guard, he's still a very precious friend.
tl;dr - He really values him a lot. Considering that he even decided to take a bullet for the team and stayed with him to make sure that he wouldn't become lonely. And vice versa, Hiro took a bullet for him in the middle of the previous world regression.... So he finds it a little ironic. Annnd this ended up being kinda gay, after all. Though him and Yamato are still an old married couple in his head.

Okay, so. Hiro really likes bugging serious and grumpy people and Yuto is sadly a victim to this cause. Now it's half out of his own amusement and half an attempt to try and get Yuto to laugh and smile like a regular young boy. However, he does fully understand and is aware that Yuto has been through some tough times that involved fighting for survival... So he actually really emphasize with him whenever it comes to that. But he wants to remind him that life isn't always about dealing with life or death situations. And it's okay to chill out and dork around every now and then.
tl;dr - Hiro is going to continue being a pain in the neck until Yuto finally accepts him as a friend. He has very weird ways of expressing his friendship to people, but the message about wanting to him his pal is definitely there. And if Yuto feels like venting about stuff, Hiro wants to be a listening ear too.

Hiro's first impressions of Athena is she has a cute face, but she's also kind of dumb and easy to rile up. In which, he finds her a real treat for his trolling. GOMEN. HE'S KIND OF A JERK LIKE THAT. But just like with Ai, he attempts to troll and flirt ends up backfiring in his face sometimes. However, there was the case where she explained almost literally everything about Cerealia which made think that she's a lot smarter than she lets on. Which Hiro can empathize with as he's also much more socially aware of the stuff he does than he lets on, but he totally wants to get to know Athena more. And if she has an issue, then he'd totally raise his hand to help him out.

SO RYUKO IS HORRIBLY AMUSING? He didn't expect Nonon to even be interested in romance, but he's not really complaining as he finds her relationship with Ryuko hilarious. If Nonon is a small yappy puppy, then Ryuko is a much bigger yappy puppy in his head. Back in his world, he reminds her of Hinako due to her FIERCE SPIRIT (and Nonon is like Airi...) so he finds it refreshing to meet a girl who's pretty gungho about things. And he feels that can casually throw flirty one liners to a certain degree without having to worry about getting punched (so far)... So long as Nonon is not the area. So yes, he wants to chill with Ryuko more in the future.

Mary is probably one of his Hiro's closest friends here. The more that he trolls you, then it means the more that he likes you? It's a confusing thing... But that's how he rolls. If anything, Hiro views her as a childish and stubborn little princess out of a fairy tale book. Yet the book ends up having more FEELINGS than he could comprehend and he wants to change the ending where he's goddamn happy. Whenever he said that he would make sure that she wasn't lonely anymore... He meant it big time. Which means he might try to push her more out of her comfort zone and make sure that she starts making more friends, grow more of a backbone and make her realize that people out there aren't all bad. As he's one of the (probably many) people out there who actually gives a damn about her. But yes, Hiro will continuing doing his best to be a damn good friend to Mary. A questionable friend at times. But a good friend.
Also why do you read BL. WE NEED TO FIX THAT TOO.
