Hawke.... she is just so endearing to the point that Tadashi has nothing but respect for her. That said, he barely knows what she actually does, but he appreciates her sense of humour and caring personality.

Coming to Cerealia after his death, he doesn't really want to make friends - even though outwardly, he's very friendly. He just doesn't want to get too attached to anybody especially because he has no future. There's really no point, he sees, in becoming too attached to people. But he's slowly changing his mind because the people he's met - Hawke especially - have such warm personalities that he can't help but just... you know, be actual friends with them.

Tadashi's friendship and niceness isn't fake by all means. It's just that he doesn't want to desperately hold onto the idea that there's something for him like reminiscing his friendships with other people or even possibly going to live at another world instead because he can't go back to his home world.

All that aside, he really does like Hawke because she's been pleasant to him so far, even calling him pretty. He's never heard that before, and let's not have him hear it again especially with Hiro around. He appreciates most of all that Hawke went out of her way to give him some soup when he wasn't feeling great. He hopes to return the favour someday, and also get to know her better and help her when she needs it.
