But that's kind of thing Yuri's really used to, so as far as he's concerned, she fits in with being around just fine. He'll probably never totally get her, but he knows he doesn't have to. Ultimately, he'll be considering her an ally as he gets to know her better, and because of that, he'll definitely also stick his neck out to protect her if he catches her in a bind. Or, you know. Feed her. But he won't do so without playing down how much he enjoys doing that for people, so have fun with that, Ruby!
(Also expect some kind of dumb nickname soon because it's definitely coming.)

Mary is kind of like a strange little light in the darkness for Roxas. He showed up pretty jaded about things thanks to, you know, his entire shitty existence. That meant having lost his only friends and having next to no trust for anyone. And then he meets Mary, and a bunch of really confusing things happen to him that he's just so ???? over.
Because his only friends were Nobodies, this is his first time having a friend who has a heart and a full range of emotions that aren't "just memories" or all that bullshit that Xemnas fed them. So a lot of the time, he doesn't quite understand what she's thinking or what she wants, or how he can help her. But she's sweet and kind, and she was so quick to call him a friend that he can't not place a decent amount of trust in Mary. She doesn't seem like the type that would lie and betray him. She eats ice cream with him and laughs with him, and that qualifies as being good enough. Eventually, he'll probably have to tell her that he's a Nobody and what that entails, but for now, he's keeping it to himself because of that whole "I'm not supposed to tell anyone, I'm not even supposed to exist" situation.
His feelings about it are complicated because he's not even supposed to have feelings about it, he thinks, but he really does value having her as a friend. He really needed it after he lost everything else, and knowing her for a short amount of time really doesn't have much of a factor to Roxas anyway.... And there's also the fact that she knew Xion and considered Xion a friend, so that in itself speaks volumes, because of course he would regard someone Xion would call a friend as his own friend when they already get along!!
tl;dr his friends are his power etc

By which I mean the fact that when Roxas left the Organization, he said the person he would trust would be the person who could give him answers. And then boom, Terra comes along. He's another Keyblade wielder, he knows things about the Keyblade that Roxas never even knew existed (Masters???? Armor??? THE GLIDER??? what is this!!), and he knows about Kingdom Hearts... and then on top of that Terra says that Roxas looks like his friend. Which for Roxas, raises so many questions because he doesn't know much about himself at all. Even if he does have some innate knowledge about Sora and being his Nobody, supposedly, that's not convincing enough to him. He really does think Terra may be able to help him a lot with finding out about who he really is, why he can really wield a Keyblade, and what his connection with Ven is (because he thinks there has to be. What if he's really Ven's Nobody!! This thought has already crossed his mind).
He has so many questions for Terra about a lot of things, but he hasn't asked them yet because there really hasn't been an appropriate time to do it. And maybe he's also just a little scared of what kind of answers he may get, even if he's determined and resolved to learn the truth, regardless of the cost. He's going to ask eventually, you know, when Terra isn't making terrible life decisions and getting shot and stuff.
On top of all that though, and because Terra does know so much about the Keyblade and what everything means, Roxas kind of looks up to Terra, too. There haven't been many positive influences on his life, and Terra's also the first person who really ever told him he could make his own choices. So even if he's kind of wary about his relationship with Riku and what the connection may be, he does kind of see Terra as a potential mentor (or even older brother-type, but he doesn't know how to make that association exactly, so it's confusing for him).
tl;dr i have a lot of feelings about the cr gomen and roxas is complicated about these things, cries

As for Yuri's thoughts on Jade.. he doesn't have a ton of them, yet. Jade does remind him a bit of Raven in some ways (thanks, Tales, for your "old man at 35" tropes), in that he seems to act older than he is, but he also has a hell of a lot more to him than he lets on. It makes Jade seem slight shady in Yuri's view, but that doesn't necessarily equate to being a bad or suspicious thing. There's something about his attitude that's easy enough for him to bounce off of, and for now, that's fine with him, really. It's not the first time he's dealt with someone who is similar to Jade, so he's good at rolling with the punches. Even if there is curiosity about what he's all about, Yuri won't pry, either, so it'll be left to chance and whether or not they get to talking more about deeper things if he gets to learn more about what kind of person Jade is.
