Sousei : Rei

Sousei's opinion of Rei has only improved, really! She's still his student and he still wants to look out for her and protect her, but he's come to realize that she's perfectly competent in the battle end of things and he really doesn't have to protect her much in that way. That said, he's still going to protect her in other ways so if people are pestering her or causing her problems he will be there to glower and make them go away.

He respects her for who she is and what she's done, though if he had to admit it, he'd have to say that he didn't entirely understand her explanation about what she is and who she is and what she went through. He's thought it over a lot, and even though he doesn't entirely understand the whole magical girl reincarnation thing, he still accepts it (who is he to say what is or isn't possible?). It's just something he's still trying to understand for himself, bit by bit.

What he does know though is that she's an incredibly brave person for all that she's done on that front, and that she and her friends have worked hard to protect what's important to them; that's a trait he absolutely admires. So he definitely respects her and will continue to do so. And he may very well take her up on that offer of learning archery, if only so he doesn't end up taken off-guard again.
